Scapula Force Couple

The Story

The Scapula force couple is a game developed to introduce Physical Therapy students to the mechanics underlying shoulder rotation. The game focuses on three of the major muscles involved in rotation.

The Art Design was produced by Alexander Swenson, the coding was completed by Monica Wierzbicki and Taylor Brown, and the game was produced by Rachel Poli.

This didactic game was produced with the concept that a PT student’s notes have come to life. Information is presented in a pen and paper type style that contrasts the highly rendered scapula and musculature. The simple didactic nature of the interactivity allows for the user to learn and explore at their own pace and quiz themselves.
